Re: Parking Spaces at SMART Station & Ridership Potential

The only plan for parking I remember reading about was a shuttle service from a city of Santa Rosa parking structure on 7th St to the downtown station. it would be a free shuttle but it does cost to park your car, go figure.
There will also be a free shuttle service from the Sonoma County Airport to the Airport Blvd station but that doesn't seem to be a place to park your car as that also costs to park.
I work a stones throw from the Guerneville Rd station and there is NO public parking near there. it would be a 3 block walk from Coddingtown or require parking on residential streets.
I drove from Windsor to the civic center in San Rafael on Sunday fighting the traffic and told my wife it would have been the perfect trip to ride Smart on but i wondered where I would park to catch it ( the movie theater parking lot then walk 2 blocks? )
