Our opinions aren't symmetrical.

I'm not a rail hater. I do hate the fact that rail proponents
lined up (particularly in Sonoma) behind a bunch of lying politicians
using taxpayer dollars to con the voters and hide information they
had in their files that the rail construction and operations could
not be funded with a quarter cent sales tax. (And yes, they're still
doing it. SMART's current GM is better at than the prior GM.)

Wrt to potential ridership, my opinion is based on analysis, published
research, summaries of research findings regarding rail transit and mode
choice patterns locally.

Yours is just wishful thinking.
