The best thing is that the Canadian government has decided to add a "carbon tax" on top of all the other taxes that make up the current gas price. It adds a two cent hike per liter of gas. It's like 8-9 cents per gallon with the conversion. Imagine filling up at $5.67/gallon. I lived that dream this morning................( $1.529/liter x 3.78litres/gallon x .98% exchange rate )Compare that to an average California price of about $4.70/gallon! And you guys thought you were getting bent over the barrel (pardon the pun).

WHAT? Another tax? When gas is at an all-time high? Perfect timing guys. In the early days of summer. Railfan trips, Camping, driving to other cities to visit reletives. HHHHMMMMMMM.....

Sorry for the rant, let's talk trains.
