The original article is from a group of extremist's who have no more credibility than the thieves at the CHSRA Bull$#it train, who also hate all funding for any rail or transit...or most anything else. It is an article clearly targeted toward this publication's base, not an objective article seeking much understanding of the complex issues.

the fact is that almost nobody makes all of anything complex "only" here (including your airplane, your car, your smartphone, and most everything else..) but many companies do make many of the parts, and do much of the assembly here, like Siemens does.

As a long time vociferous critic of the incompetently planned, costly bloated, project being constructed by the dysfunctional CHSRA, I have read critiques and conspiracy theories from these folks before, and put virtually zero credibility in the dope these folks put out, either.

The HSR fiasco on one side and these HSR opponents on the "other" side, are a classic case of political tweedle dumb versus tweedle dumber, represent a clear voter choice for those who support "democracy" (or effective rail investments) between Hitler and Stalin, or a choice of entre, at your next fine gourmet meal, between pig crap and dog crap.....
