150 per day in 2025? Who's the moron that came up with that number?
When I used to drive north on 101 during commute times I noticed that the traffic was the worst by the on-ramp by the ferry. There was a steady line of cars feeding onto the highway there. I don't know how long it takes now but 10 years ago on a Friday it would take about an hour to go from Larkspur to Novato. So the people coming up with the 150 number do not think that there will be commuters who would like to leapfrog that stop and go traffic and get home sooner?
The other fact that they are ignoring is that for almost every rider who gets on the train that is one less car on the road. 101 can't get wider and they can't build another freeway. So why aren't they embracing anything that will get their highway less crowded?
