Does anyone know, have other 'multimodal' station locations been evaluated? Why is the TAMC focused on the existing site?
I've driven through that downtown Salinas road cluster many times; IMO the N. Davis Road crossing would be easier for commuters to reach.

For more round trips, would some more 2MT be needed between San Jose and Gilroy? Likewise, new CTC may be needed between Gilroy and Salinas. Looks like a very long payback period ....
