Pajaro == Watsonville Jct. ... for practical purposes, yes, but technically Pajaro is the "town" - the developed area around the WVJ yard that's functionally part of Watsonville but in Monterey Co. - while WVJ is the railroad yard and station site. Most of us know they're effectively the same place. Some people don't. Monterey planners probably feel more comfortable with using the community name.
