Re: Nighttime freight trains are blasting their horns in midtown Sacramento, angering residents - story could have been edited better

There is a track bulletin out on the UP stating that the automatic crossing devices on 7 crossings between MP 138 and 139 are not functioning properly. This is a normal order in areas where track work is going on. During the day there will be flagmen protecting the crossings. At night quite zone rules require trains to use their horns under those conditions.
