Re: Value of Trainorders (the web site--not the flimsies)

First, I have to laugh at some of these people who complain about having to pay a whopping $3 a month for Trainorders but think nothing of dropping $5 a DAY (or more) for foo-foo coffees at Starbucks, Dutch Brothers, or wherever else they get their caffeine fix.
Second, I come here occasionally but get very tired of the childish rantings of some members here. It's one thing to disagree and discuss a topic but unfortunately some on here start acting like 3-year olds and resort to name calling as a way to "discuss" things. Unfortunately with a "free" site you get what you pay for - out of control (at times) posters who do more harm than good to their basic discussion by name calling.
Third, it takes quite a bit to get 86'ed from Trainorders from what I have seen. A person has to basically repeatedly cross the lines, or have violations of conduct that are so egregious they can't be overlooked reasonably, to get terminated from Trainorders. I have had posts "edited/deleted" because the moderator felt I crossed a line but I've never been terminated. In fact I wonder if in reality some of the people who left Trainorders did it because they were terminated or if they actually did so voluntarily but blamed the staff at TO for "86'ing them" to save face.
