Dr Zarkoff (or KRK or anyone else who would know) --

How did the YBI station stop work? Before the newest bridge modifications, I frequently saw what appeared to be the platform, but never understood how the stop worked. Was there a siding there? Did only eastbound trains stop, or did westbound trains swing across the eastbound tracks to get to the platform?? Or was there a long-gone platform adjacent to the westbound tracks???

Thanks in advance for any info.
