I believe the rear view cameras on the Vectron locomotives are the result of a Swiss regulation -- and that new European locomotives that may operate in Switzerland have to have them.

Yes, there are Vectron versions built both with and without the Swiss pantographs, with the latter not intended to operate in Switzerland, but obviously it simpler to just make this a standard feature.
