Well "BOB2" (not a real name) you certainly put yourself on a pedestal high above me. By the time I was aware of the bill, it was already under consideration and I was in a location where I could not contact my representatives--actually my house representative spoke against it, so the senator was the only one I could not reach, and as for contacting the governor's office, do you think they would actually listen to me?
Contrary to what you claim, I hear (on the radio) "experts" pointing out that the "guarantees" of where the funding will go are no better than the past "guarantees."
I don't mind being told I'm misguided or misinformed, but neither qualify me as an "Idiot."
I think we suffer from a difference of perspective, as in the three guys standing on the tracks; the philosopher sees the headlight of the train in the tunnel as symbolic of the light at the end of the tunnel, the mathematician is calculating the speed and time of arrival at their location by the change in diameter of the light, the Scientist is measuring the ground vibrations to calculate the weight of the oncoming train. The engineer just sees three "idiots" standing on the track.
