I did notice the bridge extension at Lakehead, but the photos I took unfortunately turned out underexposed and/or out of focus; a do-over in the next several weeks is required.

Take it for what it's worth, but I have read (on other sites) that the tunnel in my photo is collapsed within a short distance of the portal... I didn't have much time to venture down to the portal during my visit, otherwise I'd know for sure. There was a man and his son a short distance away who were fishing, so I yielding to the rule of first-come.
