I have to agree with Mr. Smith about Eastern Washington. Maybe not from a photographic prospective, but from a visual one I really like the BNSF between Stratford and Odessa, and from Conell and Ritzville. I REALLY like the Yakima River Canyon and Stevens Pass for photographs, but for just watching trains, the Channeled Scablands have a lot to recommend them.

While I'm at it, it's too bad that I moved into Washington too late to watch the Milwaukee Road through the Crab Creek drainage between Othello and Beverly. That must have been something.....
