NP did grade a line from Ritzville to Schrag, and the portion from Schrag got rail to the connection to the Connell Northern, which went to Adrian to connect with the CW from Coulee City.

You can follow most of the grade along I 90 from Ritzville to Schrag. This project had the plug pulled around WW1.
