Not only is there a lack of joint ticketing on parts of the NEC, but in sections where ATK is not the owner, longer distance trins can be delayed by locals when there is congestion. In turn the abolition by ATK of the 'Clockers" NY=Philly commuter trains traditionaly operated w/ long distance equipment has been replaced by nominal connections at Trenton between Septa and NJT using commuter cars.
