Fair enough Bob, so tell us all, just what is it that TRAC is doing? What are they doing in support of the High Speed Rail election?
Just what are the "careful and deliberate building of long term strategies and
> relationships to be effective" that TRAC has been working on?
What are they doing about improving and expanding passenger service to Palm Springs/Indio?
What are they doing about establishing additional service on the Coast (Coast Daylight).
What are they doing about getting rail service between Bakersfield and LA?
What are they doing in the SMART election in Marin & Sonoma Counties?
What are they doing about extending Caltrain service across the Dumbarton Corridor or to Salinas?
What are they doing about getting added service to Reno/Sparks?
What are they doing to establish commuter type rail service to Santa Barbara?
What are they doing about increased and improved service to Redding from Sacramento?
I could go on, but in each of the items above, RailPAC has active task forces working, holding meeting, meeting with elected officials etc.
When I attend public meeting I never see a represenitive for TRAC, especially since Alan Miller left.
I'm not a fan of Richard Tolmach, but when he was running the group TRAC was actually doing something. Perhaps TRAC should consider hiring Bart Reed as Executive Director. Again I'm no fan, but at least he does something.
