If the freight service ever gets a fair chance there are plenty of companies along the right of way that want to ship by rail They have been waiting a long time. Yes garbage has been mentioned and it will probably be from Novato.
Novato has known for years that Smart and the NCRA have planned to run trains all along, and choose to let NIMBY development close to the tracks. Now of course the NIMBY'S are all up in arms because it looks like it will happen.
Sorry Novato you built around the tracks and you knew they were there and that someday they would be in use again.
