I read Mitsy's piece and it seems to me that there is a lot at stake,
depending on how the judge rules.

I understand the frustration folks in this site may have
with those opposing various rail proposals, but I'd like to
know what Bob2, Mike Pechner, and other supporters of the NCRA think about
what will happen IF the judge rules against the NCRA at the
end of the month.

P.S. As far as I know, settlement is not being pushed
by the judge, but by SMART proponents. They want the NCRA issue
off the table because of concerns of how a legal decision against
the NCRA will impact Measure Q on the Marin and Sonoma ballots
this November.
