Not a lot of things I agree with Mouse, but you are right on about that! Put a tunnel up the Tejon Ranch ass and come out near Pyramid Lake, follow the 5, go under the 14/5 interchange , and come outs out of San Fernando. Use Metro Link trains to connect with HSR in Burbank. Save lots of time and milage.
