G&W as a whole, specifically the Western Region of G&W is heading downhill. Poor regional management that quickly rose through the ranks without being held accountable. General Managers / AGMS on the PSAP, SJVR, and others that have no clue how to run a railroad...only parrot orders they receive and kiss rear end. Good managers and employees who were not part of the "good old boys" network have been wrongfully terminated. The regional management is more concerned with "perception" than safely running trains. Perceptions don't run railroads...people do. A careful analysis of 2017 and 2018 "books" clearly show deferred maintenance to make those same "books" look better (higher ROI, higher EPS, etc.).
