Yeah ok captain obvious.. Yes there is no other class 1 with a steam program and yes its their money blah blah blah... The UP management is quite pleased with a lot of things going on with UP that are a complete mess. My question was directed towards those of us who love steam. When the hype and high wears off what are we left with? Yes the 4014 is a big boy but we lost 2 great locomotives in the process. One retired and one semi retired. Not a good trade off.
