Good for the port. I can't believe the people up there, everything I read is negative towards the purchase. What many people don't realize is as soon as those tracks are torn up thats it there gone forever. And as far as rail america as a holding company, they buy a railroad run the hell out of it with as little track work as possible. I contracted with them in 2007 on the San Jacinto Valley Railroad and man it was the worst track I have ever seen. Hopefully the port brings in a good company to run the line, with the tourism up there a passanger train might do well in the summer.
