This rail line would be a big lift to the coastel communities. I see it haveing a dayly round trip from Coos Bay with stops at Reedsport, Cushman/Florence, and Eugene. It would serve the two casinos, Florence and Coos Bay. It would take a big load off 126 and 101 and it would transport people to the hospitals in Eugene for treatment. Especially those needing cancer treatments. It is a very scenic route and could easily pay for itself. When gas hits $4 per gallon again, and it will, the savings would be huge. No one likes traveling 126 in bad weather. Florence would be able to furnish transportation from Cushman to the cosinos and the Old Town area. this would bring business to all three cities.
