Best kept elephants on the planet, got to feed one a carrot off of the side of the engine in Long Beach, while they were unloading. Screw the lying bastards at PETA... All gone but the great memories.

I even worked on the planning of that carpool lane for the I-5 freeway widening in my second career. The I-5 widening was designed by my colleague Jerry Wood, the best freeway design guy in the US, who spent half of his career on I-5, and the latest widened section that they are wrapping up to the 605 from Orange County.
