If I recall correctly, this was the period of the transcontinental sleeper operated in conjunction with the Southern Railway and conveyed between New Orleans and New York on the Crescent Limited. I remember seeing Southern sleepers on 98-99 but I do not remember seeing the round-end parlor car. Maybe the sleeper was in parlor car service or maybe I just caught the train on the parlor's off rotation.
