What? Going over Stampede summit on Forest Road 54 would just put you at Stampede, on the wrong end of the tunnel for working at Martin. Ten to one the Martin contractors just drove up the right of way from Easton and Cabin Creek. The old eastbound main is a well used access road up the east side to Martin.
