Never heard of them? This is another apparently well funded set of mouths who are busy nowadays, burbling away at the environmental and transportation agency meetings, about the need to electrify all railroads with overhead catenary...
As best I can tell, they're apparently part of the "no contractor left behind" program, promoting the view that only electrified trains powered by electric "wires" can count as ZEV technologies.
They are also often very vocal opponents of other "clean" locomotive electrification technologies like the evil conspiracy to use fuel cell/capacitor electric locomotives, using hydrogen to make the electricity without costly wire installations. Often you will also find them spouting a lot of anti hydrogen nonsense. And uysing scary rhetoric such as, that we must protect ourselves from "evil" hydrogen, because it is what blew up the Hindenberg.... Not to mention "hydrogen" "bombs" which will blow up the whole world... This kind of nonsense seems to appeal to today's new lower levels of paranoia and ignorance...
Welcome to the wonderful world of what are quite often secretly paid "astro-turf" community "front groups", bought, paid for, and used to promote policies beneficial to those who secretly pay the bills, and claiming they are saving us from such "evils" as the vast hydrogen conspiracy...
