Hydrogen is a fossil fuel and will remain so for the foreseeable future. The greenwashing that is occurring with hydrogen trains is disgusting. It’s not remotely “clean” by any reasonable measure, even if you can drink the exhaust.

The entire world is electrifying all the trains!

We losers are getting left behind because our railroads are run by beancounters who can only see ahead to the next 10-Q filing, so of course it’ll never “pencil” until the state gives them a good kick in the pants.
