This should be required viewing for all the Metrolink board members, the NTSB, the FRA, Connex Managers, Veolia officials, and any other naive person or organization who might think that inward-facing cameras are the great "cure all" for the problem of employees texting while on duty.
It doesn't make a lick of difference. A person with an addiction will do whatever they have to do to maintain the addiction.
The inward facing camera won't PREVENT the behavior. It will merely make a record of the errant behavior.
But that won't really matter if you're a dead passenger.
