The site that Cain Rock Yardmaster provided a link [dockets.justia.com] to is Justia, which is a website that republishes court documents. Access is freely available to the public. Below is part of text on their "about us" page.

Based in the heart of Silicon Valley, Justia is focused on making legal information, resources and services easy to find on the Internet. The company provides Internet users with free case law, codes, regulations, legal articles and legal blog databases, as well as community resources. Justia works with educational, public interest and other socially focused organizations to bring legal and consumer information to the online community. Learn more about our various Justia's Free Information, Public Interest and Pro Bono Projects.
One of the links that Justia provides on the Modoc Northern case is to a US District Court in Utah where UP filed its suit. The District Court website does require a login/password, but charges $0.08 per page viewed even with a login.
