Great picture. However, the rails to this station may have been removed but the rails to the Soldiers Home remained until the early to mid-1950's. The line came off the freight station tracks at the corner of Santa Monica Bvd and Sepulveda Bvd. After crossing Santa Monica Blvd, the line paralled Sepulveda Bvd north for quite a distance until it reached a freight shed. I use to see this line, but never saw a freight car on it. The line also had overhead wire until the Freight Station at Santa Monica was removed, and property sold for light industial useage.
