This discussion board allows us, as members of the railfan community, to practice freedom of speech and participate in the marketplace of ideas.
This means we are free to post what is on our mind, and to read, or ignore, what others have posted. If we disagree with what is said in other postings, we disagree. That is our right, a right that I spent more than 20 years in the military prepared to defend.
I don't know who "DJ" or "MJ" are, or who "LoggerHogger" is, except from what I read here on the board. I enjoy getting the photos and the information that they and other railfans provide. If they say something with which I disagree, so be it. I don't have to agree with it, but I have defended and would continue to defend their right to say it.
And speaking of freedom of speech, at least here at AP we can practice it FOR FREE. I don't agree with having to pay to post on TO, and have no more use for such an elitist site than I would for another railfan site I find elitist, Railpictures.
