Steve, your color is a lot better than what I got on my two visits. I can blame that on high sun I guess! Thanks for the photo.
114 was at Honeymoon Bay on Vancouver Island, just up the track from Hillcrest where she was their number 5. They also had a 2T Superheated Shay and the only Willamette to be exported. When the 5 was used for a fantrip(s) in the 60's, she spent some time in Hillcrest's shop and then was used a bit afterward in revenue service for them.
115 was last used by Canadian Forest Products on the North end of the Island. She had also
spent a little time working for Hillcrest as their number 5. The 115 was used at least once in excursion service on the PGE. As slow as she was, I don't believe that she made it all the way to Squamish.
