Northbay insider politica are byzantine, to say the least. Kinda like the CHSRA. And the local rag, the Press Democrat, is useless. It worries more about the Rohnert Park casino than SMART, for which it slavishly apologizes, at least thus far.

What SMART really deserves is a smart upside-the-head from the NCRA-NWP. SMART's Lexus doodlebugs are about as ill-conceived as the CHSRA's Tehachapi detour.

The Northbay deserves to find out ASAP whether there is any freight traffic potential on the NWP.
