Trolley coach could be done comparatively quickly on the 38. Streetcars are preferable but prove to be a hard sell with the merchants. They never should have pulled up the B. I heard that Christopher had campaigned against removing the streetcars on Geary but the dastardly deed was done in December, 1956, shortly before his inauguration.

Perhaps someone with more knowledge can shed light on the demise of the B.
