Whatever it is to you, it's a time to put others before yourself. It's not about religion, but about kindness no matter what someone's beliefs are. Do you not teach your children tolerance, compassion and understanding? If not, you are sheltering yourself and promoting something that a lot of activists over the decades have faught hard against.

I have friends, co-workers and family that do not celebrate the holiest of days, Christmas. Does that mean that they don't enjoy the meaning of Christmas? Anyone with their head screwed on right enjoys kindness, and if you remember any story that has been told of Christmas, well there it is for all to see - KINDNESS! Funny how someone who will exclude kindness in their Christmas Season. I for one will not.

Some other religions will take offence if the Christian faith is rammed down their throat. I for one would agree if I saw it go the other way. Most people that I associate with of other faiths are not offended by Christmas, as the real meaning is something that is encouraged by all faiths. It doesnt need a label, or be reffered to as Christian, and that is why it's known as a "holiday season".
