OK, I kind of depressed myself on the "wish list" thread below. So, what trips are you the most glad that you made before something went away? (My list is limited to photography. If you want to add anything as a passenger or a rider, go ahead).

First, there is a general category that covers just about everywhere that we used to be able to walk right into 20-25 years ago without fear of prosecution (i.e. Stockton Tower and most of Tehachapi and Cajon.)

1. I do wish that I had done more, but since I worked for the WP to the end and took my camera with me everywhere----I'm glad I did. (Getting ribbed for it was worth it)
2. SP Oakdale.
3. SP Placerville.
4. SP West Side.
5. SP Altamont.
6. McCloud River.
7. SP Mainlines as SP
8. ATSF Mainlines as ATSF.
9. DRGW as DRGW.
10. UP during the "pool power"-crazy days. (Worked for them at the time, Glad I got the fallen flag stuff).
11. OC&E.
12. BN Green
13. SP 4449 with all-daylight-car trips.
14. MRL Montana Rockies.
15. Cab ride on the SP from Altamont to west-of-Tracy when the crew had to double the hill (in the days before the crew would get fired for even thinking about it).
