1) Milwaukee Road in Milwaukee (including parts of the Beer Line) and Madison, WI
2) Conrail in lots of places, but especially in Western Pennsylvania
3) Chessie/B&O in Pittsburgh and Maryland
4) Southern Pacific in California
5) East Broad Top Winter Spectacular in 1992
6) Chicago & Northwestern Terminal in Chicago before its 1984 demolition
7) Grand Central Terminal and Hudson River line when FL9s (including the New Haven-painted ConnDOT units) were used on Amtrak and Metro North trains
8) Denver Union Station prior to the redevelopment
9) 1999 Railfair in Sacramento
10) Penn Station in Pittsburgh prior to the closure of the main waiting room
11) Oakland 16th Street Station in the 1970s
12) Several Altoona Railfests
13) Old La Salle Street Station and Rock Island passenger trains
Trains I rode:
1) 261 Circle Excursion on the DM & IR in 2004 (one of my favorite excursions with two photo run-bys and my only ride on the DM & IR)
2) Amtrak Broadway Limited 1975 - 1995. My final trip was one month before it was discontinued. Had one of my best Amtrak dinners on that train
3) North Coast Hiawatha 1977 trip - five domes!
4) Northern Pacific Railway Historical Society Convention Billings - Whitehall - Livingston excursion on Montana Rail Link with Rocky Mountain Daylight equipment
5) VIA Atlantic and Chaleur trains
6) San Francisco - San Jose excursion with 2472 in 2002
7) BC Rail Caribou
8) 2005 NRHS Convention excursions: 4449/700 trip and Port of Tillamook Bay Excursion
9) Cumberland - Terra Alta excursion over 17-mile grade
