I do not know a heck of a lot about this operation and have never really seen much written
about it...there was a short chapter in Dan Ranger's PACIFIC COAST SHAY book that had some
nice black & whites. I think that they were done with actual rail logging in the very
early 50's, but cannot come up with an actual date, sorry.
