someone once came on one of our charters with a hat that was more pins than hat- about 3 or 4X jim's hat. sadly, my 6yo is trying to make me one of those hats buying pins for me! i think they are fine to wear on a charter trip :) but not many other places. shirts with pix of locos are cool to wear many places... the one thing that does get me on charters is open-toed shoes- if trackside, you need closed shoes IMO. shorts, not a biggee. jill
