The Reason Foundation is a so-called tax exempt "educational" non profit "think tank" bunch made up of extremist adherents of the materialist "philosophy" of the famouns aetheist, amphetamine addict, and novelist Ayn Rand. who preach her weird ideological agenda.

The Reason Foundation has had previous credibility issues, appears to oppose all democratic forms of government of any kind as "anti market", oppposes all public expeditures of any kind, and appears to hate Thomas and all rail of any kind, with a special vehemence. Reason really does support various 24/7 "congestion pricing' road tolling and road privatization schemes, to charge you to drive to work at rush hour, so we can eliminate those "evil" gas taxes we pay for roads. Which is why I guess that so many of the "Reason" events I've had to attend were sponsored by oil company donations over the past twenty years?

To be completely fair, the CHSRA has been, thus far, an irresponsible, mismanaged, misgoverned public agency without adequate oversight, run by and for the contractors, based on legislation and a "business plan" that appears to meet no real California travel needs. Continuing this irresponsible course will not build anything, which is why the agencies who own the rights of way in Southern California are finally calling for fundamental reform of the runaway money train.

A pox on all of these thieves, liars, ideologues, incompetent politicians, and these faux "think tank" flunkies on both sides (including those faux enviro's who appear to be "for sale" to certain interests for the right price???)

BS is still BS no matter what is put on the label? It's just too bad when the incompetent CHSRA does so much to make themselves such an easy target to a fringe group like this.
