It is truly amazing to me that all the media outlets I saw reported that it was a lumber train
that derailed......anyone with vision could tell that the loads were not yet lumber as a bit of processing was still required before becoming lumber. These were log loads!
This same thing happened a week or so ago when that freighter banged into the Wauna dock....reported as a ship loaded with lumber. I wish it was lumber, the deck clearly showed only logs.
Sure this is being picky, but this is very simple error. What errors are being made on the important stuff.
I am very happy there are no reported injuries......this could have been really ugly.
