Yes, Portland & Western Railroad who operates in Northwestern Oregon. This incident is on
the Astoria Line that is in place from Linnton to Astoria along the Columbia River. Portland & Western interchanges with BNSF at Willbridge in NW Portland Oregon. The Astoria Line between Linnton and Clatskanie has seen some significant investment from state lottery and Genessee and Wyoming funds to handle the unit grain trains that were intended to serve the ethnol plant
in Clatskanie but is currently not operating.
The logs I believe were headed for export from the facility in Rainier Oregon where a transload facility is located. Must be great "fun" watching these log trains do street running in downtown Rainier.
