Why this is LRT, I don't know

When the Santa Fe abandoned the 2nd district west of Arcadia, it's too bad Metrolink didn't use the line for service.

Light rail is a bad idea for such a long corridor (Montclair to Los Angeles). Metrolink would have been better than the slow LRT vehicles that currently clog traffic in Pasadena and get passed by the trucks on the 210 freeway.
