Ah yes. I see the competition all the time.
I dismiss it. Occasionally I enter a photo or video just for laughs. I have yet to get one to win but...so it goes!

One of my close associates in the hobby became obsessed with RailPictures.net, and stresses over photo quality.

And let's not get started about how anyone who doesn't use a tripod or doesn't hush up gets their contributions trolled into oblivion.
