Photo sites like RP and RRPA are simply the slide shows of today (where, mind you, there was just as much sniping and angst over having good shots).

I'm sorry you feel this way, Mark, but the truth is, I've been railfanning for forty years, and I don't see the difference today that you see.

If that means I'm one of the a'holes you're attacking, well then so be it. But I have never once claimed to be anything but a marginal photographer. I share my pics because I enjoy it and enjoy it when others share their pics.
