Mark's comment about Mr. "Million Mile Amtrak" reminds me of a experience I had.

My son and I were traveling in the sleeper on the Southwest Chief to CA one time, and, walking through the sleeper I noticed something taped inside the window of an economy sleeper. It was the bio of Mr MM. Drapes drawn, but he had his bio telling of everything he'd done. I asked the car attendant how the trip was going gesturing towards that door, and he said he hadn't seen him, the door was always closed and the drapes pulled. So much for being social. I used to read his posts, but basically they now have more to do with promoting his lookout point at a hotel, and talking about his music choices than it does with discussing the train, crews, or passengers. Oh well.

Good idea about Yahoo groups, btw. I've never been there, any tricks finding good groups to join?
