Kodak made at least one exceptionally fine camera in the USA, the Kodak Medalist. I've had both the first and the II models. I do miss using it! The Medalist II is sitting in front of me now, it really brings back a lot of memories. Unfortunately, they used 620 film, although an accessory back allowed you to also use 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" sheet film with it.

I love shooting digital, but the old, fully manual film cameras are sort of like steam locomotives, not very practical, but they really have character and personality!
