BN (xGN?) had a line that connected with CP just north of Nelson, BC. I believe they had trackage rights to Nelson where the actual interchange took place. Trail is SW of Nelson. The line through Nelson used to be a secondary main and is now only a shadow of its former self. When I was there many years ago, there was a daily train through Nelson to the smelter at Trail nad return.
